“There is only one success in life: to be able to spend your life in your own way” Christopher Morley
I am an island girl hailing from Malta. After years of corporate life in London, I have made the leap to the mystical island of Ibiza. Like you, I love life and have experienced the various facets of this amazing world from love to pain and everything in between. My passion for wellbeing has led me to create Diosa Hayya, which using a combination of Spanish and Maltese words, means Goddess Alive.
My ambition is to provide you with an unforgettable holiday where you will experience uplifting yoga, yummy healthy food (and lots of it), music workshops and more. Together we will explore Ibiza’s beautiful beaches and its magical sunsets with lots of fun and laughter in a relaxed setting.
Being an Ibiza resident, I am blessed to be able to work with some of the best locally-based teachers, therapists, instructors and guides, in order to provide you with an organic and authentic island retreat.
I am very excited to share the magical island vibe with you directly from the inside. I promise you a transformational experience with moments of bliss, enlightenment, clarity, gratitude, creativity and, most importantly, aliveness!
A little bit about me…..
Mum of two small kids, long-time yoga practitioner, traveller with a passion for nutrition and everything that is wellbeing. I believe that we need a break from our daily routine where we can reassess our life, get away from everything and everyone. My motivation to start Diosa Hayya is to provide a safe space where guests can truly relax, practice yoga, eat nutritious food with a little bit of fun thrown in the mix.
Whilst working in the corporate world in London, practicing yoga became my way of release from the routine of work and ‘busyness’ of the city. I quickly became hooked on the practice. Yoga became not just a physical exercise but it also fuelled my creativity and gave me the confidence to leave corporate life, travel and explore new ventures. My love of travel allowed me to practice yoga with many inspirational teachers across the globe. I am now finally embarking on studying to become a yoga teacher.
As a mum I understand how difficult it is to let go, to not feel guilty about dedicating adequate time to nurturing my children and my relationship while trying to juggle several activities and running a household. However, I also realise that in order to give the best of me, I need to recharge and re-energise through yoga, meditation and other creative stimulations.
My family and I moved to Ibiza three years ago. Since then we had the pleasure of getting to know the island inside out with its secret beaches, amazing countryside and breath-taking sunsets. I look forward to sharing its beauty and mystical myths with you.
